Job Title: Civil Engineer - Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer with a specialization in Water/Wastewater engineering and design, possessing over 10 years of relevant experience and an active California PE License. The role involves managing wastewater projects with pump station facilities, developing engineering design documents, and a strong focus on business development. The successful candidate will lead projects from inception to completion, build strong client relationships, and mentor other staff within the group. This hybrid position is based in the San Diego, CA area.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Environmental Engineering

• Active California PE License (or ability to obtain one shortly after hiring)

• Experience in water/wastewater treatment with pump station facilities

• Strong background in civil/wastewater design

• Project management experience with water/wastewater projects

Soft Skills

• Desire to conduct business development

• Ability to build strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles

• Leadership and mentorship capabilities

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Encinitas, California and some days remote.

Work Environment

The role offers a hybrid work schedule with flexibility in hours, promoting work-life balance. The office environment is designed for collaboration, located in lively areas conducive to social activities post-work. The culture prioritizes employee well-being and learning within a diverse team. The candidate will join the Treatment Group based in California, consisting of about 7 members, with minimal travel requirements to client sites.
