Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with their EIT or PE, to join our land development engineering team. This person will be working on Commercial, Residential, and Municipal Land Development projects, with an emphasis on Storm Water Management. The initial responsibilities of the candidate will be the preparation of Site Development Plans and supporting calculations for Land Development Projects.

Hard Skills

• Site Investigation & Due Diligence

• Preparation of Conceptual Engineering Drawings

• Design of Stormwater Management & Stormwater Conveyance Systems

• Grading Design and earthwork analysis

• Design of Utility Systems

• Soil Erosion & Sediment Control Design

• Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates

• Project Coordination

• Preparation of Written Correspondence with outside agencies

Soft Skills

• Proficiency with ICPR4, Stormcad, SFWMD Cascade and Nutrient Loading BMP Software

• Ability to attend project Team meetings/virtual meetings

• Ability to prepare technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer and site investigation reports
