Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer (EIT or PE)

Location: - Marlboro, NJ

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer with either an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in land development or stormwater management.

Experience within civil engineering design, with a focus on site development, grading, drainage, and stormwater management.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other project managers and clients to develop civil engineering designs for land development and stormwater management projects

• Prepare engineering calculations, plans, and specifications for site development, grading, drainage, and stormwater management systems

• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project sites and identify design constraints and opportunities

• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and obtain necessary permits and approvals for projects

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management systems

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, landscape architects, and environmental engineers

• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development or stormwater management

• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or StormCAD

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
