Civil Designer

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Civil Designer in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Create civil grading and roadway/linear models using Civil 3D and prepare 2D drawing packages from the design models
• Prepare material quantities (cut/fill volumes, etc.) from the Civil 3D model files
• Create drawings with minimal supervision
• Develop technical drawings (determining appropriate scales, arrangement, and specific details of the drawings) from the concepts required by the engineering team
• Respect and enforce internal and client policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings
• Perform other related duties that may contribute to the project's completions

Requirements

• Hold an associates or higher degree or equivalent technical qualifications in CAD
• Have minimum of 3 years of experience in civil drafting and/or engineering
• Have good communication skills (oral and written) in English
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D software
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work to meet cost objectives, quality and deadlines
• Time management skills and adaptation to change
