We are actively hiring for multiple positions with a Water/Wastewater Engineering team in Huntingburg, IN! The most immediate openings consist of an Entry-Level Civil Engineer and Mid-Level Civil Designer/Drafter. These positions (detailed below) are open due to the amount of growth this team is continuing to experience across the state of Indiana. This local Huntingburg team will continue to grow in the years to come, so this is an exciting opportunity for candidates with minimal experience to join the organization and play an integral role in the vision. PROJECT DETAILS

• These positions are with a Civil Engineering Consulting Firm that specializes in Water and Wastewater Treatment Design.
• This team works with a variety of different Cities, Towns, and Communities across Indiana. All of these projects are for Municipal Clients and are either Rehabilitation Projects or New Construction Projects.
• They primarily design Facilities, Plants, and Pipe Networks for Water Distribution Systems and Wastewater Collection Systems.
• This firm also does a small amount of Road Design projects for their clients, and has a specified Transportation Team.

OPENING #1: CIVIL ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in a Project Team to help Communities and Industries solve their most challenging Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Problems.
• Perform Assignments requiring application of Standard Techniques, Procedures, and Criteria to carry out Engineering tasks.
• Perform Sub-professional Engineering tasks: Fieldwork, Inspections, Engineering Reports, Permits, and simple Design Calculations.
• Coordinate with Contractors, Review Construction Drawings and Specifications, and Contact Government Officials for Permits.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, with a 3.2+ GPA
• Strong interest in Water/Wastewater, Stormwater, and/or Transportation Engineering
• Professional Demeanor and Communication with a Eagerness to Learn and Grow
• Preferred Experience- Fundamental of Engineering Exam Certification
• Preferred Experience- Professional Experience in Civil Engineering
• Preferred Experience- Master's Degree in relevant discipline

Compensation Levels:

• Entry-Level Civil Engineer with no FE = $72,000
• Entry-Level Civil Engineer with FE = $74,000
• Experienced Civil Engineer = $72,000-$85,000

OPENING #2: CIVIL DESIGNER

Job Responsibilities:

• Support 2D and 3D Design Activities related to Water Distribution Systems and Wastewater Collection Systems
• Prepare Report Figures for Projects, GIS Figure Development, and Engineering Drawings for Construction.
• Prepare Water/Wastewater Construction Drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist with Quantity Take-Offs and Field Work when needed.
• Support Engineering Tasks and Activities as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Professional Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Recent Professional Experience in Civil Drafting/Design
• Preferred Experience- Water/Wastewater Experience

Compensation Levels:

• 1-5 Years of Civil Drafting Experience = $28/hour to $35/hour

• Must include Civil 3D and AutoCAD Software

• 5-10 Years of Civil Drafting Experience = $35/hour to 41/hour

• Includes Water/Wastewater Project Experience

• Must have Ability to Train and Mentor Others

• 10-15 Years of Civil Design Experience = $38/hour to 45/hour

• Ability to Conduct Layout of Water/Wastewater Project

• Ability to Conduct Engineering Project Responsibilities

• Experience with Survey, Inspection, or Client Meetings
