Civil Design Engineer

We serve clients ranging from real estate developers, governments, and food and beverage and industrial manufacturers.We're seeking a Civil Design Engineer who will design state of the art water and wastewater treatment solutions that optimize performance, reduce environmental impact, and ensure the longevity of water and wastewater systems.As a member of the Technical & Digital Services (TDS) group you'll share the vision of being a pioneer in leveraging cutting-edge technologies and digital solutions to redefine efficiency, precision, and sustainability in water and wastewater infrastructure. We envision a future where technology seamlessly integrates with engineering prowess to create smarter, more resilient systems.Responsibilities * Prepare preliminary and final designs for complex projects. * Translate customer requirements into functional system designs and diagrams. * Review project specifications to ensure that design and documentation align with the requirements. * Assist with the preparation of requests for proposals and evaluation of proposals. * Conduct system calculations from preliminary to final design * Provide markups for plans and lead cost estimates. * Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines, subconsultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work. * Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope. * Mentor junior staff with technical and professional development.Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil or other related field) or equivalent experience * Licensed Professional Engineer in one or more States preferred (AZ, OR, WA, or CA). * Minimum of 2 years' experience in general construction, utilities, and/or water and wastewater treatment plants. * Experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry preferred. * Ability to read and understand civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings. * Ability to create process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). * Proficient with CAD and other design software platforms.Location: Remote.
