Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a focused and collaborative Civil Engineer to join our team in Suffern, NY. In this exciting role, you will be expected to give input and assistance in helping the Civil Engineering department meet the requirements of our projects and clients. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing several deadlines and know how to successfully collaborate with other consultants and departments to meet project needs. Responsibilities

• Development of detailed site and grading plans and erosion and sediment control plans

• Prepare and review land development plans and designs for a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

• Storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking design and construction detailing and specifications

• Management of projects and clients

• Development of SWPPP's

• Oversee the progression of projects from conception through to completion including on-site inspections

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering

• Strong understanding of stormwater management, grading, roadway design, utility design, and other aspects of land development engineering.

• Technical writing, solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and colleagues

• Demonstrated ability to manage projects efficiently, including budget and schedule.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
