Civil Design Engineer

Job Title: Civil Design Engineer Job Description This is an Opportunity to develop expertise within civil development projects that are local to Michigan, through Actalent.

You will be able to pursue civil design career or civil engineer career. The Civil Design Engineer will specialize in a variety of land development projects, including site planning, stormwater management design, utility design, sustainable design, and site development. This role involves the design and permitting for development projects around the state of Michigan, covering sectors such as schools, commercial buildings, retail, and institutions.

Key responsibilities include planning and site plan development (grading, drainage, zoning, and utilities), preparing project drawings, calculations, and specifications, preparing schematic design and drawings, layouts, drafting, and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D, evaluating land use and zoning requirements, preparing permit applications for agency review and approvals, and conducting site visits during the construction phase.
