Job Summary
The Civil Construction Project Manager reports to the Civil Construction Supervisor. This position is responsible for construction project management of new drilling locations, managing costs, contract crews and coordinating day-to-day field operations for assigned projects. It is also responsible for ensuring all operations are completed within Encino's safe operating environment and government regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage day to day scheduling of field jobs, activities, and new builds.
- Participate In Field Reviews with the Surface Land Team offering expertise for future pad build locations.
- Use engineering documents and company documents to create bid packages for new builds.
- Hold bid run meetings with contractors at locations in the field answering any questions.
- Award excavation projects based on price point and company availability.
- Work with contractors and inspectors on new build locations to ensure compliance with ODNR regulations.
- Schedule tree clearing and E&S control installation for each location.
- Collaborate and schedule work to move existing utilities if necessary to proceed with excavation work.
- Ensure locations have been staked correctly in the field after engineering survey.
- Work with third party engineering inspectors during excavation work, problem solve with Encino management and the lead P.E. if necessary.
- Bid aggregate purchase and delivery for each location, award bid winners.
- Bid soil stabilization for each new location, award bid winners.
- Schedule location seeding operations and verify correct completion of services.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Construction team to install flowlines during new builds when weather allows.
- Collaborate with the Land Roads team to reduce costs when opportunities allow.
- Complete Pad inspections when there is spare time to ensure ongoing structural stability on fill slopes of existing locations.
- Review all material modifications with the state and ensure they are uploaded in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Surface Land team to make sure we are fulfilling all agreements.
- Stamp and approve invoices for all contractors.
- Participate in weekly Encino business meetings and safety meetings.
- Complete all annual Safety and IT trainings.
Qualifications
- Preferred minimum of 2 years excavation experience.
- Proficient with reading detailed blueprints and plans.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Can multitask and works well with numerous contractors at one time.
- Ability to collaborate with onsite engineering inspectors and ODNR inspectors.
- Ability to work with others to solve problems and be an out of the box thinker.
- Ability to work with other E&P Operators.
- Ability to work with Landowners and government officials.
Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D required.

Full-Time, Exempt, Salaried
Relocation
This position is not eligible for domestic relocation.

Work Environment
This job is in a field-operations-based environment with subject to seasonal field conditions ranging from normal to extreme temperature and weather conditions. This position requires and adequate balance between the field and office environments.
Work Schedule
Typical schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00 but needs to be available for calls when needed from the field.
