Facebook is seeking a leader to join our Global Politics and Government Outreach team aligned to civic partnerships. This team is an external arm of Facebook that helps to manage the company's strategy on elections and work with the world's governments, civic entities, elected officials and politicians on how to best use Facebook and our family of apps.

This role will manage, execute and collaborate on the company's partnerships relating to civic engagement and election integrity around the world. Additionally, this role will oversee events and develop innovative strategies to drive increased civic engagement for people and organizations that use Facebook, whether it's local community involvement or candidates running for office.

This is a full-time position and can be located in either our Washington D.C. or New York office.


  • Identify and develop partnerships with organizations and businesses focused on civic engagement and elections at the local, state, federal, and international level.

Manage sponsorships and event integrations.

Represent Facebook at events and conduct informational trainings on how to use our products effectively.

Educate users on our ability to monitor fake accounts, be transparent with political ads, reduce the distribution of false news, and safeguard elections from foreign interference.

Work cross-functionally to drive election related projects to completion and help identify potential risks.

Work across a variety of teams including Product, Policy, Legal, Communications and Marketing to help implement new civic partnerships.

Respond to requests for partnerships and help mitigate any partnership issues.


  • Bachelor's degree in political science, legal, or similar field
    3+ years work experience with campaigns or elections

Project management experience, and experience owning multiple, cross-functional projects with varying deadlines

Presentation experience

Experience thinking strategically about issues that leads to recommendations and action plans

Experience working with all levels of management, both internally and externally


  • Fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, or another language
