City of Albuquerque Associate Director - Biological Park
Plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Biological Park within the Cultural Services Department including directing the planning of all zoo, aquarium, botanic garden, and Tingley Beach programs and exhibits, expansion of aquarium and botanic garden and acquisition of new animals; coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies; and provide highly responsible and complex administrative duties in support of the BioPark Administrator.

Experience Required
Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in zoology, biology, business administration or public administration; and Eight (8) years of managerial experience in the operation and maintenance of zoological, aquarium or botanic garden programs; and To include five (5) years supervisory experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire. Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.

Salary
$48.48 - $50.89 Hourly
