The City of Safety Harbor is actively seeking exceptional candidates for the role of City Manager, a position that reports to the City Commission, comprised of a Mayor and four at-large Commissioners. With approximately 188 FTEs and an adopted FY2024 Total Budget of $98.1 million, the City is seeking a City Manager to serve as the Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the daily operations and management of the City under the guidance and direction of the Commission. The City Manager provides visionary, innovative leadership, supervision, and general direction to the City Management Team (Community Development, City Clerk, Engineering, Finance, Fire, Human Resources, Leisure Services, Library, and Public Works) to achieve citywide goals.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in public or business administration or a related field and five (5) years of municipal management experience as a City Manager or Assistant City Manager or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Members in good standing with FCCMA/ICMA, including an ICMA-Certified Manager are preferred.
