Cognizant is seeking a qualified Citrix Administrator to serve as the primary technician for a subset of distributed internal stakeholders. These responsibilities will require you to maintain superior client satisfaction through the timely resolution of technical issues. Your day-to-day activities will include serving as the escalation point for our help desk, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting in project work. The selected Citrix Administrator will also assist in managing a global Citrix environment, including Netscaler administration and virtualization using XenDesktop, XenServer and XenApp.
Additionally, the Citrix Administrator will manage images, machine catalogs, delivery groups, and profile containers.
6+ years of experience
Experience in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and Xendesktop
Expertise in farm level management of Citrix XenApp infrastructure
Citrix Patch Management and policies configuration
Good troubleshooting skills in Citrix printers, profiles, resource manager?s thresholds, installation manager, Citrix Farm Configuration
Experience in handling Xenserver, XenApp and XenDesktop VDIs
Experience in developing and modifying scripts to deploy and automate application installation and health checks
Responsible for performance tuning and providing a high availability XenApp environment to eliminate single points of failure
Supporting and preserving the Virtual Desktops, which includes the XenDesktop, XenApp, and others
Publishing applications in Citrix and application virtualization using multiple tools
Should be capable to provide technical assistance, system analysis and technical solutions to clients
Experience on application publishing, content, desktop & provide user access to Citrix Environment and expected to perform application Migration from legacy Citrix to XenApp environment
Should have hands on to Perform hotfix Rollouts for Windows 2008/2012/2016 Citrix servers
Proactively identify operational vulnerabilities. Make recommendations for improving performance, information security and implement changes
Change and Configuration management through testing and moving updates through various staging environments (ITIL Change and Configuration Mgmt.)
Problem identification, determination, and resolution for product or usage of the product in conjunction with requestor (ITIL Incident/Problem Mgmt.)
