Key Responsibilities & Collaborative Points

  • Provide subject matter expertise and leadership for various business initiatives throughout the project lifecycle to support statement-related requirements

  • Contribute and have the ability to create project documentation to support statement related activities such as creating business requirements, project plans, decision documentation, testing documentation, as well as process and procedural materials

  • Responsible for timely review, research and resolution of statement-related issues that occur throughout Retail Services

  • Project management discipline and problem solving capabilities

  • Accountable for reviewing and evaluating statement quality assurance testing and processes to ensure aligned with the appropriate governance controls; ensure issues are addressed as depicted by the service level agreements (SLA) and the controls are outlined within the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) processes

  • Support internal and external audits and walk-throughs as required

  • Ensure understanding and adherence to the regulatory requirements for the statement-related activities

  • Understand critical data processes and technology components within the statement processes; identifying critical gaps and/or opportunities within the statement functionality

  • Support new partner onboarding; providing conversion and data mapping support, as needed

  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with critical internal business partners

Qualifications

Business and Technical Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience working within Credit Card industry and/or IT function in a large, matrixed, multinational organization; Private Label Credit experience preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology or a quantitative discipline or relevant business experience

  • Understanding of credit card data, credit card systems and retail statements; knowledge of FDR, HP Exstream, Campaign Manager a plus

  • Experience in system analysis and writing business and functional specifications

  • Knowledge of consumer financial services regulatory environment

  • Strong business acumen

  • Specific knowledge of private label/co-brand credit cards, commercial products (revolving and PROX); working knowledge of other consumer financial services products a plus

  • Demonstrated track record of collaboration across multiple, disparate internal business groups

  • Strong problem solving skills to proactively address business questions and the ability to understand trade-offs and impacts, as well as business process reengineering

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across teams and work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present ideas to audiences at all levels internally and externally

  • Demonstrated history of attention to detail and process orientation

This position is responsible for administering the Enterprise Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Platform (BCP) and implementing process improvement initiatives by leveraging tools, training/mentoring business unit coordinators, and providing thought leadership to further mature Business Continuity (BC) throughout the enterprise to ensure compliance with business objectives and regulations. Additionally, this position is responsible for planning and conducting regular mock disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies as well as acting as the coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans are created and/or updated and are improved to meet Company's needs. Validate plan changes with live tests and tabletop exercises with various business units. Conduct meetings with all departments on a rotational basis to determine BC/DR readiness. Interface with designated company departmental Business Continuity representatives to assist them in BC/DR plan development. Maintain any tools associated with the delivery of these duties. Identify enterprise-wide Business Process Workflows and develop contingency plans to ensure minimal disruption during incidents. Lead digital resiliency efforts and provide clear understanding of the threat landscape at large resulting in strengthened business processes and enhanced outcomes. Work with Senior Leaders to relay risk areas and the importance of BC/DR planning. Present findings and results of risk analysis, tests and assessments to Executive Leadership. Responsible for all BC/DR training programs for all departments and locations, documenting any gaps discovered, and facilitating closures as needed. Responsible for the Incident Response Plan that addresses disruption scenarios for the business. Serve as the senior enterprise advisor for all BC/DR functions and deliverables. Lead efforts on the development and delivery of emergency response programs. Translate strategic and operating plans into meaningful direction of projects, goals, priorities and activities; delivering on strategy through quality execution and best practice adaptation. Capture, analyze, and understand the Bank's internal environment, team dynamics, and talent capabilities to address organizational refinement, agility and growth. Provide a structural and consistent approach to ensure that individual business unit development plans are in place, performance management is consistent, performance management process is respected and followed, and coaching and feedback are provided on a regular and dynamic basis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with emphasis on Computer Science required. Certification in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), preferred. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery efforts and programs in medium sized companies required. Financial Services experience preferred. Prior BCP/BIA planning and leadership skills with a financial institution or financial services provider. Strong organizational and planning skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, organizational skills and a proactive customer service approach. Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers and co-workers at all levels within the organization. Must be able to work both with a team and independently. Proven competencies in conflict resolution, leadership, adaptability and coordination. Proficient in O365, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity using Excel for ETL purposes to update data sets originating outside of the BIA/BCP solution tool. Working knowledge/expertise with Recovery Planner preferred. Other BIA/BCP solution tools such as Fusion Risk Management, Metric Stream, Strategic BCP, Continuity Logic, etc. as an alternative to Recovery Planner are useful.
