Mandatory:

Strong technical SME with Cisco UCS server design, architecture, assessment, improvement/optimization

Hands-on SME experienced with the design, configuration, implementation, testing

Must have mid-level Enterprise class UCS server farm, hybrid (public/private) design experience

Will come in, perform in-depth discovery & assessment of existing UCS environment, create technical documentation, perform system gap assessment, create improvement plans/architectures, design multi-domain greenfield UCS architectures, layout key groundwork on deployment plans, etc.

Outstanding technical documentation skills

Hands-on with re-architecture, re-engineering of UCS environment

Experience with large server environments with 10,000+ vms (virtual machine)

Direct experience with vmware or other virtualized systems

Direct experience with deployment, testing and activation of these technologies within enterprise grade networks

Understands other key data center technologies including network, security, etc.

Strong track record working with and understanding other functional team members including project managers, integration, test, applications specialists

Strong leadership skills, Communication skills
Mandatory Soft Skills

Very articulate, clear communication skills, consultative

Able to articulate his/her expertise to executive level audience without adlibbing

No noticeable issues with body language, eye movement (i.e., looking up to the right), grasping straws, BS artists need not apply

Comfortable working in a pure open environment (i.e., no offices, all open work areas)

Clean/consistent employment history reflecting progressive professional maturation, no employment gaps
Preferred:

Experience doing the above within a Logistical organization, ecommerce and/or high-transaction trading/stock market environments

Ability to consult/train/lead other technical resources
