Candidate needs to have hands-on materials, thin film unit process or device integration expertise for emission and detection in the Visible and near-IR; as applied to imaging, Ranging, Optical Filters and Thin Film Diffractive and Refractive Optics, Plasmonics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate device roadmaps, through domain knowledge, industry networks and device expertise.

  • Understand device requirements / challenges. Translate these and develop unit process and /or process integration deliverables & results

  • Develop or use typical test structures. Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on significantly complex process engineering experiments

  • Interact with key customers to identify challenges and enable solutions

  • Actively participate in industry consortia and conferences, with the objective of having the company recognized in this field.

  • Regarded as the technical expert in their particular field

  • Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function

NonVolatile Memory Device and Integration engineers are responsible for leading research and development in order to architect, develop and deliver leading edge nonvolatile memory technologies to high volume manufacturing. They contribute to defining process and device architectures, technology collaterals as well as develop scaling paths for leading edge memory technologies. The scope includes development of new types of process and device architectures involving novel materials, structures and integration schemes to deliver industry leadership in density, performance, reliability and cost.
