Position: RN Registered Nurse, Circulator- Ambulatory Surgery
Employment Type: Full Time, Days
Location: Yonkers, NY
Salary: $115,000 - 130,000 annual salaryThe ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our community hospital client to hire an experienced Circulating Operating Room Nurse for Ambulatory Surgery. Responsibilities

Coordinate pre-operative preparations, including verifying patient identification, confirming surgical site, and ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Assist with patient positioning and preparation for anesthesia induction.
Manage the surgical environment, including maintaining sterile technique, monitoring patient vital signs, and addressing any intraoperative concerns.
Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth transitions between surgical stages and adherence to the surgical plan.
Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical procedure.
Document all aspects of the surgical process accurately and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Participate in debriefing sessions to review surgical outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience circulating in operating room
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and instrumentation.
