Circularity Senior Program Manager

Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Circularity Senior Program Manager in Boston, MA.

Job Description: Lead development and execution of cross-company strategy, work plan, and timeline to advance circularity across Schneider Electric.

Propose ambitious key performance indicators the company could set regarding circularity. Work with customers and partners to identify and implement strategies for improving circularity, taking into account the latest regulatory frameworks, technological capabilities and industry best practices. Partner with internal and external leaders to foster incubation of circular business models across the company.

Identify and originate pilot projects in circularity that are innovative in technology, financial mechanism, and other dimensions. Define internal product guidelines on circularity. Ensure guidelines are followed by reviewing internal regional/local initiatives, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance.

Develop and represent Schneider Electric's position on circularity externally, through thought leadership, public policy advocacy, and communications, and liaise with other sector leaders to collaborate on systemic changes. Eligible for 100% remote work.

Requirements: Position requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (3 years with Master's, 5 years with Bachelor's) in sustainability consulting, carbon accounting, circularity or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Developing policies accounting for environmental law and circularity regulations; Informing product development decisions with circularity, life-cycle assessments, EcoDesign principles, and materials science evaluation; Developing circular business models like resale, takeback, and recyclability; Developing LCA tool analyzing trade-offs on various environmental impact metrics; Measuring environmental impact using carbon accounting and Green House Gas protocols; Ensuring marketing claims on circularity are compliant with regulations; and Developing methodologies to account for avoided emissions from circularity initiatives.
