CTG is currently recruiting for a Circuit Layout Design Specialist to provide support for our Fortune 50 client in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a long term contract role and an onsite presence in Poughkeepsie is preferred, but a remote work situation with occasional travel might be arranged for the right individual.
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Duration: Long term ongoing W2 contract
Individual will be responsible for the layout of very high frequency SRAMs in deep sub-micron CMOS for IBM's POWER and System Z microprocessors and subsystems. Applicant will use Cadence design tools and leading edge CMOS technology to layout custom RAM circuits and macros, and verify against technology design rules.
Basic Skills required in order of importance:
Candidate will need to have knowledge of very high frequency SRAMs and embedded DRAMs in deep sub-micron CMOS for IBM Power and System Z microprocessors & subsystems.
Experience in Cadence schematic tools (Virtuoso, etc)
Experience in Layout Design
Must be familiar with routers, EDA checking tools (DRC, LVS)
Proven experience in robust layout with reliability and yield design rules is a plus.
Should have at least four years' experience in Hardware Development.
