The CI/CD Development Leader will lead the CI/CD engineering team and is responsible for developing the technologies, tools and process which enable continuous delivery for our products and services in cloud and in support of our mobile and IoT consumer solutions.

The CI/CD Development leader will serve as the 'evangelist' across all Resideo SW Engineering teams, building support for and implantation of best-practices around continuous integration and continuous deploy/delivery (CICD) tools and technologies. These efforts will also facilitate production monitoring and controls that enable proactively-predictive production.

The CI/CD Leader will work with 3rd parties and the engineering teams who creates our proprietary IoT systems. They will also oversee the development and support of "DevOps" tools to empower the Global Cloud Services group toward maximum performance of its mission and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the common CICD pipeline for all software and product delivery; "One path to Production"

  • Work closely with engineering leaders to evangelize and train capabilities, usage, and facilitate integration of common CICD pipeline for all workstream efforts.

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of service availability and efficient turnaround for CICD enhancements used for development or operational purposes.

  • Develops roadmap to deliver ongoing improvements and new services, onboarding, and integrations

  • Develop/embody the "servant leader" example that fosters a culture which brings out the best capabilities of your team, and builds best-in-class, high performing team(s).

  • Establish a culture of high performance, transparency and continuous improvement as it relates to the production support of our services and streamlining of the development pipeline.

  • Maintain high level of expertise and experience with concepts, tools, and architectures for building a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) Pipeline.

  • Maintain knowledge of current operational processes, DevOps and SRE methodologies and development tools and best practices.

  • Organize collaborative work with Engineering and QA to design and develop the test automation to validate builds in the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Set and manage standards for successful development process for automation and tools

  • Manage the CICD Team Leads to establish the proper technical direction and approach.

  • Mentor Team Leads and members on software development best practices.

  • Assist in software architecture design and deployment technologies

  • Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CICD operations.

  • To actively work on continuous improvement with respect to quality risk, compliance and costs.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
