The CIB Operations - Robotics and Innovation team sits within the CAO and is responsible for managing an overall portfolio of innovation programs and driving such programs to achieve the overall efficiency goals of the CAO. Strategic initiatives in the portfolio currently include robotics process automation, cognitive automation such as machine learning, and other artificial intelligence related initiatives. The team also takes on other tactical initiatives on a case-by-case basis, focused on finding opportunities to generate additional efficiencies across CIB Operations.
The team is looking for high performing Analyst/ Associate to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of current automation programs. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to new technologies being implemented within financial services and will require partnership with representatives from across the organization including Business, Finance, Operations and Technology groups, as well as working with external stakeholders, i.e., vendors and market utilities
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Strong experience in leading and driving Change Management across lines of businesses
Preferred experience in Robotics and Machine Learning
Process and Technical experience to understand business
Stakeholder management and Senior Management presence
Overall program governance and ownership of key messaging to stakeholders and Leadership
Collaboration with cross-functional SMEs to identify, implement, and accurately track automation related initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to:
Partnering with Operations to identify potential candidates and manual processes for automation
Working with Technology to ensure delivery against prioritized items
Working with Finance to ensure automation related efficiencies are accurately tracked and reflected in the firms financials
Accountability to track and escalate potential issues that may warrant senior management attention to prevent progress against program goals
Act as the single point of contact for all questions/ queries related to automation programs within the teams purview from across the CIB
Strong influencing capabilities and experience to drive idea generation workshops to build pipeline for automation
Overall people mgmt. responsibility to manage senior trained associate level staff
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Prior experience of plan management and analysis in Strategy Consulting, or Financial Services
Logical and structured approach to planning, problem-solving, and decision making
Effective presentation skills with working knowledge of PowerPoint
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills - experience with Excel and manipulating large data sets is highly desirable
High degree risk and controls awareness
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; able to influence internal and external stakeholders
Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture
