As a Continuous Improvement Lead at the nGROUP IRC, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence through the implementation of lean methodologies, process standardization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be responsible for leading initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and productivity within the warehouse environment. Must be able to work a schedule performing eight plus hours per day which could include overtime, weekends, and holidays when required. Prior experience with 3PL, Retail Distribution, and Reserve Logistics/E-commerce experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1.5S & Implementation & Sustainment:

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the 5S methodology across all shifts.

  • Ensure adherence to 5S principles to improve organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the warehouse.

2.Safety & Process Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive safety procedures (OPLs) and process documentation (SOPs)
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.

3.Standardization:

  • Establish standardized processes and workflows throughout the warehouse.

  • Drive consistency and efficiency in operations through standardization initiatives.

4.Process Implementation:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead the implementation of new processes.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine processes to enhance productivity and quality.

5.Auditing Compliance to 5S & Process:

  • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with 5S standards and operational processes.

  • Implement corrective actions as necessary to address deviations and maintain alignment with standards.

  • Conduct 5 CI Area Audits, 2 Safety Observations, 1 5WHY, and 1 Waste Walk each week.

6.Eliminating Waste & Increasing Efficiency:

  • Identify and eliminate waste in processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.

  • Implement lean principles to maximize efficiency and productivity throughout the facility.

7.Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving:

  • Lead root cause analysis efforts to identify underlying issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement among team members.

  • 1-2 years lead experience.

  • Bi-lingual is preferred.

  • Knowledge of all aspects of warehouse operations is preferred.

  • Effective verbal, reading and written skills.

  • Effective communication development and training skills.

  • Willingness to engage and develop others.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Strong proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office),
