100% Deployed Mid-Level Counterintelligence Analyst Location: International, PAR AF Job Category: Intelligence Security Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance Status: Must Be Current Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Counterintelligence (CI) analysts use a variety of classified and unclassified databases, software applications, and other intelligence research tools to identify, assimilate, examine, interpret, and evaluate all-source information/intelligence to determine the nature, function, interrelationships, personalities, capabilities, and intent regarding the intelligence capabilities of foreign powers, international terrorists and other entities and activities of CI interest.
Duties and

This position supports the International Security Assistance Forces-Afghanistan (ISAF) and/or US Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A). Supports a CI/HUMINT or intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of CJ2X and CJ2 analytical requirements.
Provides analysis of Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)s/HUMINT Reports (HR)s and CI INTREPs, provides feedback and IIR/HR and CI INTREP evaluations, source directed requirements (SDR)s, time sensitive collection requirements (TSCR)s, ad-hoc collection requirements (AHCR)s, and supports source validation.
Conducts analysis of source reliability and report credibility, and communicates the analysis to the collector in support of the source validation process.
The CI Analyst provides CI analysis and assessments in support of HUMINT source validation.
This position is mid-level analyst.
The CI Analyst is responsible for researching, developing and presenting CI/HUMINT and all-source.
  • 2 to 4 years of analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies and requires former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent such as USMC - 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, U.S.

  • Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF - 1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst Clearance

  • TS/SCI with CI scope Polygraph or willing to undergo CI scope polygraph Special skills or qualifications:

  • Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development

  • Briefing skills

  • Deployed experience in either, Afghanistan, Iraq/SWA regional issues, and HUMINT, CI CT military analysis

  • Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development

  • Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills

  • Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location Highly desired qualifications and/or experience: Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree Deployed experience in either Afghanistan, Iraq Tactical and/or operational level experience Four years CI/HUMINT experience preferred Job Location AF-International--AFGHANISTAN

This position is a Temporary Full-time role with an estimated deployment of 6-12 months. Responsibilities: The All-Source analyst assists with the analysis and production of various intelligence products specifically focused on Threat Awareness, Force Protection, Indications and Warnings, C-IED, COIN, and targeting in Afghanistan, while supplying analytical support for senior military leaders in the AOR. All-Source analysts are responsible for attending meetings and conducting comprehensive research on complex topics independently, or as part of a larger analytical effort, focusing on current events and long-term trends that could impact the supported unit's mission. All-Source analysts are responsible for researching, developing, presenting, and publishing all-source intelligence products at the tactical and operational level. Required Skills: * High School/GED * Active TS/SCI clearance is required * Five (5) years of analytical experience within the DoD or equivalent government agencies is required. * Experience in C-IED, CT, South West Asia regional issues, or political/military analysis preferred. * Applicants must be proficient in the use of basic intelligence computer applications and intelligence-related automation, including MS Office Product Suite to support analytical efforts and product development. * Strong research and writing skills are required. * Requires former 1N, 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, 0231 or service equivalent.
