Comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, and vision insurance STD and LTD Life Insurance Policy Company Vehicle, Phone, Tablet, Gas Card 401k and profit sharing Longevity of employees Team atmosphere THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: The Senior Chiller Technician will perform diagnostic service, and preventative maintenance tasks on commercial HVAC to include Commercial Chillers, Boilers, Associated Pumps, Controls, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, and Electrical Service Switchgear equipment along with any additional assigned duties.
Act as a Primary Chiller Technician in scheduling and servicing dispatched chiller maintenance and repair work.
Take an active role in a development path to continue personal growth to enhance current skillset and compliment chiller team growth Maintain and repair chiller systems of all types, air and water cooled, for both commercial and industrial customers.
Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems Maintain a safe and clean workplace to include assigned vehicle, materials, customer sites, and tools needed to support our Service Customers Safety is the primary responsibility wile all work performed on all chiller systems.
Other work may be assigned as needed on various HVAC systems such as Boilers, Package Equipment from time to time.
DDC Controls, VRG, and VFD Experience is a plus Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
Be available to work some nights or weekend, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of customers.
Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues.
Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle Document all work performed as work is completed with concise detailed explanation including but not limited to all performed service, diagnostic, and equipment installations.
Include make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and all pictures as necessary.
Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturers recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct.
Be the trusted advisor by developing strong relationships with customers, resources, and team members.
Communicate to all stakeholders including dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors, and managers, as need, to keep company and customers informed about work progressions with timely completion of all work as a priority Proved detailed, complete, and timely paperwork and required such as time sheet submittals and all requested responses.
Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
Identify a personal development path Identify and report to supervisor/manager potential opportunities for additional business BACKGROUND PROFILE: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Seven or more years proven record in maintenance, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse chiller service issues Good analytical skills, good problem-solving skills and attention to detail and ability to train and mentor junior technicians Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
This includes the ability prioritize tasks and scheduling.
Ability to get a TWIC card DDC controls, VFR and VFD experience is a plus Must have ability to work with others and be a team player, while maintaining a neat, well-groomed appearance Valid Social Security number and drivers license, Good driving record, ability to pass a background check and drug test as required by companys Drug Free Workplace policy.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; be albel to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights Observe all company procedures and safety rules Work as part of a team to ensure company satisfaction Looking for a highly motivated, organized individual who wants to be part of a successful team!

This person will specialize in custom solutions for critical and complex applications, service, repair, and install of rental equipment. This may include generators and associated accessories ranging from 30kw up to 2mw; or chillers and industrial temperature control equipment. Sound like you? In an ever-changing business you will be nimble in seizing opportunities to pioneer effective ways to meet and exceed your responsibilities: * Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment and documents this as directed by his/her supervisor. * Complete necessary paper work timely and accurately which may include data entry and general use of relevant computer systems and software as directed. * Troubleshoot equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations and handle repairs. * Perform overhead services on diesel engines * Sets up and operate equipment as directed both in-house and at customer locations. * Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. * Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics. * Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. * Obtain & maintain necessary certifications required to operate any equipment as dictated by federal, state and/or local ordinances. * Prepare various reports as directed to maintain accurate records on equipment and preventive maintenance. * Prepare expense reports and/or service reports within prescribed time periods.
