Chiller Service Technician

United Mechanical is seeking experienced HVAC Chiller Service Technicians to join our Chiller team. If you are an HVAC Technician with at least 3 years' experience in central plant system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, this is your chance to advance your career with our team of solutions oriented, highly skilled, and responsive service professionals.

Responsibilities:

This is a union position. As an HVAC Chiller Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of Chiller Systems within commercial and industrial buildings. Including but not limited to:

• Ensure the satisfaction of our valued clients by continually providing best-in-class service.

• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on central plant equipment Chillers, Pumps and Cooling towers etc.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with Central plant equipment.

• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring on central plant equipment.

• Perform central plant equipment retrofits, control panel, VFD and compressor retrofits.

• Identify energy saving, safety, and overall quality improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• Strong skill in central plant systems and controls

• 3-5 years' experience as an HVAC technician in a commercial and industrial environment

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and company directives

• related to building operations and work safety.

• Universal EPA refrigerant certification.
