AbilityPath is hiring a Program Aide/Intern for our Children's Therapy Services Team!
The Children's Therapy Program Aide supports Children Therapy services program and is responsible for assisting and achieving classroom goals and objectives for young children birth to 3. This is a great opportunity for students looking for future careers in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, and Early Childhood Special Education! We also offer internships for students who are taking related course work and need to gain experience! We also have opportunities for candidates interested in supporting individual classes for Speech and Occupational Therapy!

Schedule (32 hours/week - benefits provided):
Monday: 8:00-2:30pm
Tuesday: 8:15-1:15pm
Wednesday: 8:00-2:30pm
Thursday: 8:00-5:00pm
Friday 8:00-1:00pm

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Participate in planning and implementation of classroom and group activities (including set-up and clean-up of class, organization of classroom and program materials)
Provide documentation of interventions and classroom activities
Assist Children's Services staff with paperwork, materials development, and curriculum planning, and special projects
Assist with tracking and ordering program supplies and materials
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Working towards or completed Associate's/Bachelor's in child development, early childhood special education or other related fields
Preferred is core Early Childhood Education (ECE) units or Child development class
Bilingual in Spanish/English (preferred)
HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California Driver's License/ID
Clean Driving Record (if applicable)
Proof of negative TB test results
Verification of occupational physical clearance
Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance
18 years of age or job permit clearance
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:
