The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Teachers for our NC 4-Star schools at 3806 Country Club Road, and 600 Polo Rd. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you!

Pay rate: $14-$19 per hour
Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range.

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets children's learning styles.
• Provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
• Have fun!

Requirements

• Degree in ECE or a related field, or EDU 119/NCECC certificate required for lead teachers
• EDU 119, NCECC, or willingness to sign up for EDU 119 upon hire required for teacher assistants
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some previous experience working as a teacher at a licensed childcare center required.
• Ability to obtain NC background check letter.
