Our program serves preschool children 6 weeks - 12 years of age. Programs include, Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care and Summer Camp.

Who Would I Interact with?

This position interacts daily with and Assistant Teacher, children, parents, the management team, and teaching staff just to name a few.

What are the requirements for this job?

  • Bachelor's in early childhood preferred

  • 1 year of exp. in a licensed childcare preferred

  • Flexible in challenging situations

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must be able to build strong relationships

  • Commitment to professional development

  • Effective decision making

  • Must be First Aid/CPR trained

  • Meet all state requirements for position.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Requires a gentle touch while instituting our developmentally appropriate curriculum

  • Ability to handle the demands of preschool students in different stages.

  • Be highly organized with the ability to create a positive learning environment.

  • Ensure a safe structured learning environment.

  • Empathetic to children's emotions and parent's needs.

  • Plan daily lessons that support social, emotional, physical, & intellectual growth of each child.

  • Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.

  • Excellent writing skills and use of technology to deliver child progress to parents and other teachers.

  • Present expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.

  • Be creative, passionate about your work and have fun.

VIEW JOBS 1/23/2023 12:00:00 AM 2023-04-23T00:00 <p>Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a full time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual school-based services for a local school district.</p><p><strong>Perks:</strong></p><ul><li>We offer competitive rates with reimbursement for documentation, meeting attendance, and report writing.</li><li>This is a 1099 position</li><li>PTS provides consistent on-site and off-site mentorship with Clinical Directors and Team Leaders.</li><li>School-Based Academy: We provide the support and community a new School-Based therapist needs to feel comfortable and be successful.</li><li>Lending Library: PTS recognizes the additional expense in providing evaluation materials. We have an extensive library of testing tools and assessments for therapists to borrow as needed.</li><li>Team Tuesday: Join our monthly Team Tuesdays via Zoom where you can connect with other PTS professionals to ask questions, share resources, and network.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of students being served.</p><ul><li>Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.</li><li>Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement classroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensure carry-over of learning.</li><li>Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child.</li><li>Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports incompliance with deadlines, confidentiality laws, federal and state laws, State Board of Education regulations, and school administrative policies and procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Company Profile:</strong></p><p>Each year the number of students receiving related services under Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) changes and grows.
