The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Center Director for its NEW NC 5-star childcare center at 110 Nuway Circle in Lenoir. If you’re passionate about impacting the lives of others in the world of early childhood education, the Preschool Director role may be for you. We are hiring immediately and would love to meet you!

Salary range: $48,000-$50,000 per year, based on experience, education and credentials.
Position includes quarterly bonus potential and FREE childcare.

Childcare Director Responsibilities:

• Manage operations of childcare school, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.
• Hire, engage, and develop a supportive team of caregivers and educators.
• Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Oversee the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and the community.

Requirements

• Level III Administrator qualified.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required.
• Previous management experience at a NC licensed childcare center required.
• Extensive knowledge of childcare management and early education.
