The San Diego Unified School District is currently seeking two part-time Childcare Activity Assistants to provide assistance and supervision to children enrolled in Before and After School activities at Clairemont Canyons Academy. This opportunity is open to all.
The following two 10 month openings are available:

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from high school. Volunteer or paid experience in child care or youth group activities is desirable, but not required.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid California driver's license and availability of private transportation (mileage expense allowance provided).APPLICATION PROCESS:

Substitute Experience:
Please note that general or occasional Substitute Experience is not included when determining if a candidate has met the minimum qualifications for the position.
Individuals working in related, specific, LONG-TERM substitute assignments of substantial hours per week must specify each separate long-term assignment in their work history in order for this experience to POSSIBLY count towards meeting the minimum qualifications.
This information must include an approximate start date, end date (where applicable), specific site, job title, hours per week, and job duties performed for each long-term assignment.

The supplemental questions should be answered thoroughly, clearly, and concisely as the responses provided (along with the entire application package) will be carefully reviewed to determine which candidates will move forward in the recruitment process.

Foreign Equivalency Certification:
Individuals who have completed high school or college-level coursework at an institution in a country other than the United States must provide a Foreign Equivalency Certification to satisfy the education requirement. EXAMINATION PROCESS:
The examination process will consist of an application screening based on the candidate's education, work history and responses to the supplemental questions. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are not guaranteed advancement through any subsequent phase of the recruitment process.
