This position is for two hours on a Sunday morning. The Child Watch Attendant will be responsible for the nurture and supervision of all children participating in the temporary on-site care offered by the Oak Creek Corps. The Child Watch Attendant will develop activities to entertain young children while their parents / guardians participate in Corps programs and events.

Patiently supervise multiple children.
Communicate effectively with children and parents / guardians.
Handle difficult situations with speed, tact and fairness.
Maintain a high level of enthusiasm.
Organize and execute age appropriate activities, including biblical lessons and crafts, for children both individually and in groups.
Assist in the cleaning of toys and other materials and ensure the nursery is clean and de-cluttered.
Maintain a safe environment for staff and participants.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Must be 18 years of age or older and 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
Certifications: First Aid, CPR and AED Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Ability to effectively communicate with parents and guardians.
Ability to interact with co-workers and the public in a positive, professional manner.
Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
Exercise good judgment in personal actions.
Able to work weekends occasional weeknight opportunities.
