JOB SUMMARY: This Internal Promotional Opportunity is for an Operations Analyst I - Child Support Case Processing Consultant position in the Department of Revenue's Child Support Program Payment Processing and Funds Distribution Team in the Jacksonville Service Center.

The incumbent will complete activities associated with complex and/or escalated cases. Assess cases, review supporting documentation and make decisions. Contact business partners to confirm and gather information and review and update critical data fields.

Assist with performance monitoring, review the work of others and participate in collaborative monitoring. Serve as a subject matter expert for the team. Assist with training team members, developing training materials and providing technical assistance to unit, process and region team members. Initiate and respond to requests and assist the supervisor in compiling data for reporting purposes.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.

  • Two years of experience conducting research and analyzing information to make decisions.*

  • Experience coaching, mentoring or training others.

  • Two years of experience communicating with customers for the purpose of resolving inquiries.*

  • One year of Child Support Program experience.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • *College may substitute on a year for year basis of the required experience.

PREFERENCES:

  • Preference may be given to applicants with Payment Processing & Funds Distribution process experience.
