MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL
We're looking for a Mental Health Professional. Your main responsibility will be to the people we serve, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed, and that benchmarks for performance are met in an efficient and effective manner.
As such, a high level of communication - and strong relationship building with both internal and external providers and resources will be key to your role. You will assist with intake assessments for the Child and Adolescent Residential Program. Provide therapeutic support and milieu maintenance with children and adolescents in a residential setting, conduct group and socialization activities, assist with day to day personal care needs of consumers, provide crisis prevention interventions, and provide individual interventions including case management support.
We serve a unique population of children and adolescents with mental illness diagnosis as well as their families. Our child residential program provides therapeutic support through individual counseling sessions as well as family sessions during the consumer's admission.
We also work with our psychiatrist to assure that the correct medications are being utilized based on the consumer's diagnosis and body metrics. We provide referral support for continued behavioral services after the consumer's discharge, to provide a continuity of care.

Master Degree in a human services field and one year of direct care experience
Current ACT 33/34/73 Clearances
Valid Driver License

Work Schedule: This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position
Saturday-Wednesday, 3pm-11pm - days/hours may vary according to program need
