The Kansas Department for Children and Families Services (DCF), Kansas City Region, currently has a Child Protection Supervisor position in our Prevention and Protection Services (PPS) division, This position is located in the Overland Park Center with an annual salary of $44,000.
Provides overall Protection Specialist guidance for all cases assigned to the unit and in assessing, designing and delivering services to meet the needs of families and children.
Monitors case outcomes to ensure that agency objectives for safety, family preservation, and/or permanency are met. Supervision of new staff with a focus on staff development and pre-caseload job preparation for staff not yet receiving assignments to enroll, monitor, and assist with pre-caseload/pre-service requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Licensed Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) professional as determined relevant by the agency with the licensures listed below and one year of field experience in child protection as a licensed child protection specialist.
Must have license at the time of hire along with a valid Driver's License. Must maintain valid driver's license throughout employment and professional licensure throughout employment.
