EJE Academies Charter School (TK-8) is a dynamic, 90-10 dual-language school with the passion and enthusiasm to make a difference in a student's life! JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Executive Director and/or Child Nutrition Lead Worker, assist in the organizing, set-up and breakfast/lunch serving process to students and school personnel as well as maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. Unload food, materials, and/or supplies. Ensure student safety and compliance with EJE's requirements by providing oversight of students on campus. Attend to assigned duties and responsibilities in a regular, dependable and punctual manner as well as be available to work after regular school hours. Demonstrate a strong work ethic coupled with an enthusiastic and passionate approach to one's work. Follow policies established by EJE Academies' charter, and District and State mandated school guidelines. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director or other designated supervisor. Work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Minimum requirements: At least one year previous experience working in a school cafeteria setting Must have the ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds Must have the ability to successfully clear: DOJ (fingerprints), TB Test, Drug Screen Current Food Handler's Certificate Only qualified candidates will be contacted
