Responsibilities

The Child Life Specialist has comprehensive knowledge of child life theories and practices who works in collaboration with healthcare providers to help children and families navigate the process or injury, illness, trauma, and or hospitalization.Child Life Coordinator provides distraction, play therapy, and entertainment for hospitalized children. CMN assists in the funds of the Child Life program by supplying toys, games, and crafts for the children while they are in the hospital.

Education/Experience:

Degree in Child Life Speciality with clinical hours under a Certified Child Life Specialist OR Child Development degree with a commitment to complete Child Life Specialist cerification within one (1) year of employment.
