Requirements for Applying

Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a valid California Administrative CredentialThree years additional educational experience or other equivalent educational leadership experience

Desirable Qualifications:
Master's Degree with additional administration study in the field of Early Childhood Education, including the areas of administration, supervision, and curriculum development

Successful leadership experience

Teaching experience

Knowledge of and commitment to contemporary management and instructional techniques

Knowledge of preschool curriculum and child care activities

Knowledge of regulations of licensing agency, county programs (Los Angeles Universal Preschools), and State Department of Education (state preschool, and after school grant programs)Knowledge of State licensing requirements

Ability to represent the school district with responsible, mature judgment, tact, and decisiveness

Ability to assist in effecting positive change in staff and programs A current Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificate

VIEW JOBS 11/18/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-16T00:00 DEA's Residential Land Development Segment is currently hiring for a Project Engineer in our Santa Clarita, CA office. This role is to carry out individual tasks delegated to them by the Project Manager. This is a hands-on technical career-track position. The Project Engineer plans and conducts work requiring judgment regarding the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Successful candidates should possess expertise in land development design, grading, drainage, streets, sewers, storm drain and utilities. Position Duties: * Apply civil engineering principles to assigned projects, either as a team leader or functioning independently. * Create a design plan and lead specification production on a wide variety of projects which include site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities * Perform calculations, specifications and proposal preparation, and permitting applications * Schedule projects (understanding, creating, modifying, identifying the critical path), prepare and review cost estimates, and client coordination * Execute complex assignments utilizing judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures * Devise new approaches to problems encountered * Interface with clients and public agencies * Design coordination with project sub-consutlants * May supervise project staff with the ability to mentor junior staff Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering * 5+ years relevant design experience related to Land Development projects consisting of commercial, residential, public works, institutional, or industrial * Demonstrated experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
