EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONExperience: Experience working in a preschool or child development classroom setting is desirable.Education:

Verification of a High School diploma, a GED certificate or a higher degree. Verification of 12 semester units in early childhood education/development core classes. A minimum of 3 units within the area of infant/toddler is preferred.License Requirement:

Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's License. A current standard Pediatric Red Cross First Aid/CPR certificate is required at the time of employment and must be kept current as a condition of employment. A current Preventative Health Practices certificate must be completed within the first six months of employment OR if completed, attached to the completed application*.

  • Copy of Transcript (Verification of 12 semester units in early childhood education/development core classes (at least one three-semester unit (or four-quarter unit) course in each of the following core areas: Child/human growth and development; Child, family, and community, or child and family relations; and Programs/curriculum).)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (One (1) Letter of Recommendation is REQUIRED. Letter must be signed and dated within the last two (2) years.)
  • Proof of HS Graduation (Verification of High School diploma, GED certificate or higher degree)
