Job Summary A caregiver#s primary responsibility is to provide a safe and nurturing environment every day for the children in our care while offering peace of mind to their parents. Education Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school degree or equivalent. Preferred educational requirements: Related degree (Bachelors, Associates) in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field including Elementary Education, Special Education or Child Life Child Development Associate (CDA) Experience Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and NAEYC accreditation guidelines. Complete a minimum of 12 hours of child care provider training in the first 30 days of employment. Complete a minimum of 12 hours of training each calendar year of employment. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Meet federal, as well as individual state requirements (i.e. physical, OSHA) and maintain credentials for the position (i.e. ongoing training).
