Child Care Professional

Shifts Staffing LLC is a leading staffing and recruiting agency specializing in placing talented individuals in various industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Professional to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with families, providing quality child care services and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in your care.

As a Child Care Professional, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn, play, and grow. You will engage in age-appropriate activities, assist with homework, and provide support in daily routines. Additionally, you will communicate with parents/guardians, maintain records, and ensure a safe and clean environment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
• Assist with homework and provide academic support
• Ensure children are following daily routines, such as mealtime and naptime
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including meals, naps, and behavior
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the child care environment at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in child care
• Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
