POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Child Care Liaison, Bilingual/Biliterate is done for the purpose(s) of providing resources to site staff and providers, providing child care referrals and parenting information and/or eligibility information/enrollment in compliance with county, state and/or federal requirements; providing information on services available to children and families; conveying information regarding county office activities and procedures; and referring families to other agencies.

This position is required to communicate both orally and in writing utilizing both English and Spanish. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Two years of experience working in early childhood education or related work.REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent and an Associate's degree or 48 semester units of college with emphasis in early childhood education from an accredited college/university.

Additional experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. Ability to obtain an RCOE bilingual certification within five months of hireREQUIRED TESTING Once this position closes, your application will be screened for minimum qualifications. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be e-mailed an invitation for testing. Testing will tentatively be held on October 19, 2018.
