Minimum Hiring Wage:

From $15.50 per hour

Job Details:

Scheduled hours: 1:00pm - 6:00pm (Five days a week)

• Potential for flexibility on hours, but must be in before 3pm*

This position will be working with school age kids - more hours available in the Summer months

Job Description:

• Responsible for providing a nurturing, safe, healthy and educational environment for children in a daycare center setting.
• Engage and monitor children through age appropriate activities and learning.
• Dress children, change diapers and assist in potty training.
• Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities and meals served.
• Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.
• Sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children. Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
• Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.

Qualifications:

Previous childcare experience preferred.
