Position Purpose:

The Child Care Aide is responsible for creating joy in a child's life by teaching through play and hands-on activities while implementing daily curriculum, which helps foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Essential Functions of Position:

  • Responsible for regular facilitation of parent/guardian communication or conference to discuss children's progress, orientation, transitions, and developmental goals.

  • Interact frequently, affectionately, and respectfully with children.

  • Follow all safety and health rules while supervising all children at all times.

  • Responsible for keeping the environment and equipment safe, clean and attractive.

  • Establishing positive relationships with children and families.

  • Planning and implementing curriculum that advances all areas of children's learning and development.

  • Engage and communicate with individual children during the activities and routines.

  • Responsible for preparing monthly calendars and craft packets.

  • Responsible for monitoring and ensuring children's safety throughout the day.

  • Assist children with routine direct care such as: dressing, eating, and toileting, etc

  • Responsible for reporting any suspected abuse and neglect of children to immediate supervisor.

  • Responsible for ensuring all appropriate records such as timesheets, child care logs, parent payments are properly documented.

  • Responsible for coordinating and assisting children's interaction with the neighbors.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • High school Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous training and/or experience with developing consistent, stable, and supportive relationships with infant and children is highly preferred.

  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or be able to obtain fingerprint clearance card required.

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or able to obtain within 90 day of employment

  • Negative TB test within last twelve (12) months or able to obtain prior to start date.

To qualify for the role you must have * A bachelor's or master's degree * A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser for a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within industry * Experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least one of the following engagements: (a) financial statement audits; (b) internal or operational audits; (c) Service Organization Controls Reporting engagements; and/or (d) ERP security and control reviews (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft) * Successful candidates must be available to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 50% of the time, plus commute within the region (where public transportation often is not available). Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required. Ideally, you'll also have * A bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline * CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT certification is desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.
