Chief Solutions Architect

Widger Talent is spearheading a confidential search for a Client seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Solutions Architect to join our growing team. As the Chief Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's technical roadmap and driving the implementation of architectural solutions that align with our business goals.

The ultimate objective of this role is to ensure that the Business and Technology strategies are in alignment and link the business mission, strategy, and processes of the organization to its Products and Technology strategy.  ​

This position is expected to understand the complexities of the organization, processes, information, and technologies then build future-state models to best realize the organization strategy.​ In this role, you can expect to oversee the design and delivery of various revenue generating features and systems, including live production and greenfield services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the organization's software architecture and technology roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize software requirements
• Create and maintain architectural guidelines and principles
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to support our business objectives
• Drive the implementation of architectural changes and improvements
• Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards
• Mentor and guide software development teams
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chief Solutions Architect or similar role at SaaS-focused company
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices
• Strong expertise in designing and developing scalable, high-performance software systems
• Experience with cloud-based architecture and technologies
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex problems and provide innovative solutions
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
