Supervises radiation therapy staff
Assists in tumor localization and administers treatment.
Ability to act as primary radiation therapist on all treatment techniques utilized in the department
Establishes work schedules and tracks attendance.
Maintains supplies and inventory.
Assists in quality control.
Assists in all management functions including scheduling and payroll.
Coordinates workflow and ensures proper staffing.
Ensures that equipment is functioning properly.
Ensures safety of work environment.
Attends CQI (continuous quality improvement) meetings
Prepares budgets, evaluates staff, delivers disciplinary action as needed, develops and monitors data and is responsible for preparation of annual report.
Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
Other duties as assigned
Must have graduated from an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
RT(R)(T)(ARRT) preferred with RT(T)(ARRT) required. Over 3 years supervisory experience or more than 5 years Radiation Therapy experience required.
American Heart Association BLS required
