Be a technical expert across all proposals and projects in portfolio and provide guidance to ensure technical success. Assist in maturing engineering team though continuous improvement, mentoring, and reviews.
The Chief Project Solution Engineer Responsibilities include:
Participate in technical committee chaired by Chief Engineer
Serve as key technical advisor to Solutions Engineering Director
Perform Design Reviews on Tenders and Projects
Review Critical Project CRs with Project Team
Engage in vital and non-vital design issues
Support Project Architects in interface with Product Design teams for completeness of Project needs
Drive Continuous Improvement through process definition and adherance
Mentor Project Engineering teams in becoming senior design engineers
Provide training to engineering community
Provide expertise in Customer Interface when required by Project needs
Participate in Standards Committees and Professional Engineering
BS Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
At least 15 years of experience working on signaling projects
15 years experience in Rail Signaling industry
10 years experience in System Engineering
Senior Expert in Alstom World Class Engineering or equivalent
