Description:

Engage and facilitate relationships with educational, community, civic and business leaders regarding Tulsa Tech's programs and services to improve student access and success. Responsible for developing, coordinating, and cultivating partnerships with chambers, non-profits, businesses, and philanthropies that support our strategic initiatives and core values. Serve as a conduit for two-way communication of priorities and strategies between Tulsa Tech and the community. Represent Tulsa Tech by serving as a high-performing Board Member on selected Boards. Serve as the administrative Tulsa Tech Foundation liaison.

Essential Functions:

• Serve on the Superintendent's Cabinet under the direction of the Superintendent/ CEO.

• Provide visionary leadership to execute an exemplary Community Engagement strategy.

• Create and manage an engagement business plan that supports the district's strategic plan.

• Strengthen partnerships by raising awareness and support of the organization through outreach efforts including community and civic events, public and business relations, and external affairs.

• Engage community leaders with Tulsa Tech's programs and services.

• Develop new partnerships with area schools, colleges, chambers, businesses, non-profits, and philanthropies.

• Regularly assess, survey, or obtain feedback from all stakeholders. Use data to measure alignment and engagement efforts.

• Engage and educate stakeholders in a systematic way to improve student access and success.

• Provide input to strategic and operational planning for the district; assist in leading continuous planning efforts.

• Formulate short and long-term goals concerning the development of outreach and advancement efforts of the district. And provide timely update reports.

• Develop metrics and procedures to track institutional trends such as recruitment, enrollment, retention, and completion to increase our accountability to student access and success through qualitative and quantitative assessments.

• Provide assistance to the Superintendent in managing and coordinating with the Board of Education in its regular, committee, and special meetings; generating/reviewing external communications and legislative issues related to community involvement.

• Serve as a liaison to the Tulsa Tech Education Foundation executive director and foundation board members to raise funds to support educational practices and professional development while also working to help provide financial scholarships to students that are struggling to meet financial obligations while maintaining their enrollment in Tulsa Tech programs.

• Provide leadership and guidance regarding the search for external funding sources, writing proposals, managing existing grants, and reporting to the Board and stakeholders.

• Serve as a conduit for community leadership by representing Tulsa Tech on non-profit and for-profit Boards.

• Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years experience that includes significant senior-level management competencies that focus on leadership, community engagement, and collaboration.

• Must have compelling facilitation skills, is service oriented, with skillful communications that would serve to strengthen relationships in both education and industry settings.

• Valid State Issued Driver's License

• Bilingual is a plus

Education:

Master's Degree required.

Hiring Range:

Dependent on experience, plus additional $7,200 annual compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.
