Job Description:

As a member of our Project Execution team, you'll draw on your strengths managing people and processes to manage technology projects that typically span multiple lines of business and have firm-wide implications. You'll lead these projects from initiation through implementation, including: establishing project requirements, priorities and deadlines; ensuring that relevant risk and architecture requirements are in place; and managing the project budget and resources.

In addition to collaborating with your teammates, you'll communicate with stakeholders across the firm to work toward the best possible outcomes. While this role is rooted in project management, it's a terrific opportunity to develop your leadership skills and make lasting connections throughout JPMorgan Chase & Co.

This position is part of the Corporate Technology Finance Technology team, specifically supporting efforts across our delivery programs, and various other Corporate Technology Finance Technology initiatives. The Project Strategy Associate will operate within the initiatives and support the Finance Technology Leads in driving the overall vision.

This individual will support the team lead, and have the ability to provide insightful analytic output on a wide range of issues impacting the delivery programs and various other strategic priorities. Some responsibilities include: Developing strategies to deliver and execute on organizational goals and priorities; Synthesizing complex and/or diverse information to "tell a story" in a digestible manner that brings attention to the key details; Using intuition and experience to complement data; Creating strategically timed & targeted communications to help drive awareness and engagement of priorities and accomplishments at all levels; Converting detailed analysis into crisp presentations on recommendations / improvement strategies for leadership review and decision making.

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency in one or more business disciplines or functions

  • Experience project managing multiple projects

  • Knowledge of global and line of business project management standards and methods

  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

  • Minimum five years of combined business, project management, team leadership and IT experience required. Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries is essential

  • Experience with or aptitude to learn about budgeting/financial projects; highly analytical mindset needed

  • Knowledge or experience of CMM and Six Sigma Methodologies and Standards as well as experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Project Workbench, PMI, etc. is mandatory

  • Preferred qualifications include: Project management certifications; Experience outsourcing methodologies and operating models, and working with professional services firms; Prior experience in program management, business management or strategy (top consultant experience A-plus)

The Finance & Treasury/Chief Investment Office Chief Data Management Office is responsible for providing fit for purpose data required by Corporate Finance & T/CIO and driving data governance and policy adherence to the Firmwide Data Management standards and capabilities. The Finance & T/CIO Chief Data Office is looking for an Associate level candidate who will be part of a high performing team of data management professionals focused on delivering innovative data management solutions to Finance & T/CIO stakeholders. Team members are aligned by product(s) and function(s) and focused on the delivery of data management capabilities driven by FAIR projects, Firmwide Data Management Critical Business Initiatives, and Corporate Finance & T/CIO stakeholder data needs. Responsibilities * Partner with senior stakeholders and Finance & T/CIO CDO leadership team to support the delivery the following data capabilities for a prioritized book of Liquidity & Interest Rate Risk-aligned work * Data Requirements – Drive provisioning of fit-for-purpose data by working with consumers to identify data requirements; enhance data consistency through definition of business terms and alignment of data providers to agreed upon business terms; maintain alignment between business terms and data requirements documentation/metadata * Data Sourcing – Identify authoritative sources of data based upon data requirements for on-boarding to Finance & T/CIO architecture; support FAIR Product Owners in demand prioritization and grooming sessions * Data Quality – Facilitate resolution and oversight of the book of data quality issues and data sourcing gaps; ensure issues are clearly understood for prioritization and resolution and linkage to all necessary metadata (i.e., adjustments, demand, technology jiras); support roll-out of Data Content Owner strategy * Data Quality Controls – Ensure data integrity by identifying and overseeing implementation of data quality controls within Finance & T/CIO applications and upstream LOB applications * Data Landscape – Engage with Corporate Technology to clearly describe data across its lifecycle for a common view and language across Finance and the Firm enabling data lineage * Support CDO leadership team in preparing for Finance & T/CIO forums to communication status of work, drive framing and rollout of CDO strategy, and advise on overall data health * 3+ years of program and/or project management experience required, with particular focus in the data space highly preferred * Strong core finance technical skills and solid understanding of finance processes, infrastructure and systems * Subject Matter Expertise of Liquidity & Interest Rate Risk preferred * Attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment * Able to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels * Proven ability to lead across LOBs/Functions and geographies and with implementing organizational change; strong interpersonal skills * Able to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines * Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment * Bachelor's degree required Jpmorgan Chase & Co.
