Chief Of Police

Education, Training, and Experience: Option 1: -Master's Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably with major coursework in Police Science, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or closely related field.

• Four (4) years of experience as a peace officer, including three (3) years experience at the level of Lieutenant or higher rank. Option 2: -Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, preferably with major coursework in Police Science, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or closely related field.

• Six (6) years of experience as a peace officer, including three (3) years experience at the level of Lieutenant or higher rank. Previous work experience in a California public school district is highly desirable.
