Chief Of Police

The Chief of Police / Emergency Management Director for the City of Lester Prairie provides leadership and direction on all police and emergency management functions of the community. Under direction of the Lester Prairie City Council, this position is responsible to preserve law and order, protect life and property and enforce laws and ordinances in a manner consistent with the law enforcement philosophy of the Lester Prairie Police Department. The Chief of Policecreates problem-solving relationships with the citizens of Lester Prairie by using skills from the community oriented policing philosophy; works directly with citizens, staff and other City Departments to assist in resolving problems/conflicts; and represents the City with a courteous, helpful and professional manner.The Chief of Policy provides direction and advice to all police officers in a manner consistentwith the philosophy of the Lester Prairie Police Department.Apply: https://www.lesterprairiemn.us/page/2555" /> Job Opportunities | City Job Opportunities
